A Surprise for Shelly that Won't Be a Surprise

I made this card, today, for Shelly.  She'll see it here before it lands in her mailbox I'm afraid.  It all started when she handed me some daisy printed sheer ribbon earlier today.  I discovered the perfect daisy paper in my newest stack of K & Company paper, and used a digital made by Angelique at http://sliekje.blogspot.com/.  She does the cutest digital stamps.  The ribbon doesn't show up in the small version of the photo but click on it to get a better peek.  So hopefully, tomorrow,  Shelly will have this in her hands.

I was forced, yes forced (!) to visit Wal Mart's craft aisle tonight.  I actually killed a cutter.  That means all card making ground to a halt.  I had somehow stripped a wire thingy on mine, so I bought a rotary cutter this time.  I stood in that aisle for a moment, fondling the bling and paper but I didn't cave.

Happy Friday night everyone!
