Hang in There

And here is Crissy's wonderful turtle stamp 'Hang in There' .  After the colouring it was super easy to make.  I embossed the background paper, and using glue dots popped on the frame and text.  I edged the oval with Martha Stewart's green glitter pen and added faux stitching around the outer edge.  The white blossoms and the background paper are from Market Craft.  The frame was cut using Make-The-Cut using one of it's built in files.

I'll be entering this card at Sundays With Crissy.  This month's theme is faux stitching.  I'm challenging myself to enter blog contests.  Hopefully I won't embarrass myself.  I need to step up and do it just because it's good for me to push myself a little.

And I'll give this advice to myself, to HANG IN THERE!

  5. I see my pals Zoe and Lisa have left you some love! I'm going to second that emotion! Nice choice of colours on your card Jane, and they all tie in with the colours you chose for the image. The embossed background is so pretty too. I should probably be calling you Ali but I am so used to Jane, it might take me awhile to get used to referring to you differently! Sending hugs!! xo
