Girls' Saturday

We spent today watching Disney movies.  It sure brought back memories of when my girls were little.  I think we should have a big sleepover and watch more old family type movies.  Lots of soda and popcorn, too!

My rash is almost gone but my back has been so itchy today that I'd kill for one of those hokey old back scratchers. Souvenir shops around town used to sell these plastic back scratchers with a photo of "the Gateway to the North" at the top of the handle.  Why did I laugh at them?  I should have bought one!

Before I hit the craft room tonight I surfed around and decided to make a Tent Topper card.  I used some old K & Company papers and a printed rose picture from the Graphics Fairy.  Ribbon and rubber stamp from Wal-Mart.  This card gives me ideas for some different looks using die cuts.  Stay tuned!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend.  Happy Crafting!

  2. Beautiful card! I feel the same way about Disney movies. They make me think about my childhood and a sleepover to bring back great memories would be so much fun. Also, I have seen those back scratchers at the dollar tree. You might check it out in case you continue to itch!
