I Have Everything I Need Almost

I'm feeling so much better today.  The endless sleeping over the past few days has revived me once again.

I got up at a reasonable time this morning.  I still can't face food.  That's pretty typical for me so I just roll with it.  I did manage a french vanilla from my divinely wonderful Keurig.  Oh, oh, oh! I just had an idea.  I have a friend who owns a Keurig as well.  I need to make her an assorted gift basket.  Crafty people can always rise to the occasion with ribbon and glue guns.

I made this shabby card today while I sipped my coffee.  I used distressing inks, my corner punch.and the best ribbon in the whole wide world (the cheap but pretty stuff from my local dollar store)  The flower was the challenging part of the card as I made it out of eight die cuts sprayed with glimmer mist.  The challenge was that I did NOT have the required supplies but improvised with a paring knife instead of a paper piercer and a plain metal pin instead of a craft brad (not even sure of the proper name)  I wanted a flower and I did not want to drive around town in search of the correct items.  I do think that I will get those things before attempting too many more.

It is such a beautiful, pretty day here.  Spring comes tomorrow officially.  I hope this weather stays.  I have so many things I want to do and I get excited on days like today.  Then my reality sets in and I realize I am too sick to get it all done.  Still, I am happy and looking forward to all sorts of things today.  I have everything I need.  No need to spend money anywhere. I have ideas banging around in my head and as long as I pace myself they are all doable.

Love life.
