Oh Baby!

Nobody I know is expecting, but I made a baby card just because they're "cute"  Today I completed part one of my mystery project and just couldn't leave the room without creating at least one card.  I'm actually hoping for some more craft time after dinner.

I did indeed rest all day yesterday.  I missed a day of crafting, etc., but I did wake up this morning feeling much better.  I even cleaned my craft room after I was done.  Vacuum and all!  Everything is in it's place and looking shiny new.  Well, everything but my ribbon dowel.  That thing is a nightmare and I think I'll wait to enlist some help.  I have the wall unit thingy that so many scrappers have and I would love to meet the dingaling who designed the ribbon dowel for the bottom.  Most of my ribbon spools are too small to fit.  I sort of forced them on the dowel originally.  Anyway, like I said - what a mess!

I have to find the video I watched for accordion flowers.  I made my first one this afternoon and can't figure out how to get it to hold it's shape.  It's looking more like a giant cupcake cup at the moment.  I didn't trash it because I think I just wasn't listening to what the tutorial lady said at the end of her video.  So back to You Tube for me tonight.

I`m having a rare break right now.  The house is so quiet.  All I can hear is the living room clock ticking and the occasional car driving by.  The children all went to the mall to look for a date outfit for my oldest daughter.  It`s not often that a mom gets this solitude.  Heaven help me, but I miss them and I`m ready for them to return home.  It`s a gorgeous spring day so when they get home it`ll be pork chops on the barbecue.

Seize the day!
