Keep on Dancing

We spent most of today with our lawyer so I'm suffering from a bit of 'brain fry' this evening.  Tomorrow we have a tribunal to attend so I don't expect I'll be any more perky than I am right now.

Nevertheless, I'll keep on dancing.  Gotta keep going forward even when you're tired and not 'feeling it'.  We're in our fifth year of litigation for my husband's brain injury.  I should be used to it by now.  Every so often we're trotted out to prove just how injured he is.  The same people question us and the whole story gets rehashed in all it's painful glory.  The up side is, we've weathered five years of it and the law of averages says we are nearing the end.  So pffffft to this week's responsibilities.  Our bodies will attend and then we can forget about it for a little while again.

And meanwhile I have my card making to give me some peace and order.  I used the Tippy Toes cart for this card but feeling a little rebellious didn't make it in the usual girly colours.  I think it's got more of a bohemian look that a girly look. Looking at the ballet shoes takes me back to my childhood  I can still remember the feel of my ballet shoes.  I was a mediocre dancer but I felt like a fairy princess when I danced in those shoes.  Every little girl that I know of dreams of being a ballerina and dancing with grace to beautiful music.  Even at my age, with this old body, I sometimes imagine twirling, spinning and dancing nimbly.  Then reality kicks in and I know exactly what muscles would scream in protest.  Hahaha, caught myself dreaming over a greeting card.

I hope you're all creating something that brings you happy memories or warm thoughts.
