Grateful Thoughts

My days are mostly made up of naps and me huddling inside a blanket to try to keep warm.  While I am immensely grateful to wake up each morning, I do merely mark time and tick the days off.  I realize that when I make a card it has come to symbolize achievement for me. Today's card features a stamp by Sliekje.
When I make a card it means that I am well enough to focus my attention on something, well enough to make the trip down and back up the basement stairs and well enough to come and blog about it.  This my friends, is pretty important stuff to me.  I may be weak and ill, but I am still doing something normal..  Talking about this may not sound very positive to you, but to me, still being able to do a hobby is marvelous.  I am seriously happy, happy, happy.

Lately, I have been reading blogs written by courageous souls who have already gone through a transplant and I cannot express how hopeful and positive these blogs make me feel.  I am a survivor and one of these days I will be telling others about my own life saving surgery.  I am hopeful.  I am embracing positive thoughts.  One day soon I will have a new life with energy and health.  It is so exciting.

Those of you who pray for me - thank you, thank you, thank you!  I read your blogs and pray for you, too. The power of prayer is amazing and I know I would not be as well as I am today without it.  I am ready to face my future.

I love all of you!  Happy Crafting
